Looking around the streets, Jessica found it weird how it was empty when it was just five minutes before nine. Most of the bars are also already close. She was told that there only a few 24/7 stores in the area but the person was in a hurry so she was not able to ask. She had also noticed a swanky looking drone hovering over her and it making those annoying beeping sound which was pissing Jessica off. She glared at the drone before noticing a figure by the window looking at her. “Hey, asshole,” she called out. “Is this your damn toy? Keep this away from me or I will smash it and shove the pieces up in your ass.”

she could feed the conversation settling down and the last thing cindy wanted was silence. she decided to go on a whim and ask for advice. ❛❛ what are you thoughts about the office? i’ve never watched it but i keep hearing about it. ❜❜

if  there’s  anything  MAY  PARKER  claims  to  be  good  at  ,  it’s  keeping  the  atmosphere  comfortable  in  times  of   trouble  .  while  half - forced  ,  the  smile  on  her  face  stays  still  across  her  lips  ,  emitting  soft  hums  of  the  music  as  the  occasion  carries  on  .   ❛    loving  your  look  ,  it’s  adorable  .   ❜    she  beams  at  the  NEAREST  PERSON  whose  caught  her  attention  .    ❛     mind  letting  little  ol’  me  snap  a  photo  of  you  for  my  scrapbook  ?   i  know  it  sounds  creepy ,  but  trust  me  ,  it’s  just  a  hobby  we  middle - aged  women  enjoy  doing  other  than  knitting  sweaters  .    ❜

Clint hid behind the wall as he reloaded his quiver cleaning debris off of his suit before noticing the person next to him before speaking”Hey you okay?”Clint knocked another arrow into his quiver before firing it into the leg of a prisoner with a crowbar”I dont know why your hiding here but this isnt safe alright? damian kneeled in front of the borrowed batmobile and stared at the flat tire. this was... unusual. he cleared his throat when he heard the sound of footsteps behind him. “i’ve been driving since i was five, i don’t need your help.” he waved his hand dismissively at the person who was standing behind him.

Pepper’s been on edge ever since Tony was taken; she can’t even remember how the party ended, who left, who stayed -- all that keeps flashing through her mind is Tony’s face as he’s being escorted out of the compound.

It feels too much like Afghanistan, helplessly waiting and wondering and hoping he’s still alive, itching for a scrap of news.

She hears a clatter behind her and she jumps, a gasp escaping her lips before she can even register it’s happened. Turning, she smiles sheepishly at the source of the noise. “I’m sorry -- I’m not normally this jumpy,” she explains, laughing nervously. “Here, let me help you.”

The small crowd that’s formed around her erupted in laughter, and Zinda drained her champagne glass. She was having a blast so far, but there was much more fun to be had before that stupid curfew. 

“Alright, who’s gonna ask me to dance with them first? Come on now, I’m sure one of you nice fellas can keep up,” she raised an eyebrow as she spotted someone walk past. 

“You! Yeah you, c’mon,” she said, “dance with me!”

Pepper approached one of the servers, plucking an hors d'oeuvres off the side of the tray that was closer to her. She didn’t know what it was, but it was covered in cheese and seemed to have some kind of meat inside it. Popping it in her mouth, she released a soft noise; Tony sure did know how to design a menu. ( Of course, she had helped a little over the years. ) She noticed someone sidling up to the tray out of the corner of her eye and she stepped aside. “You have to try this,” she insisted. “I don’t know what it is, but it tastes divine.”
