Personal Comment:

Overall thoughts about the finial edit. 

The sound editing was provided by Robyn and the main editing was provided by Elle. The finial edit I had received from Elle was not entirely completed for some reason the sequence I had received from her the time frame was very slow placed. I had asked if there had been any problems whilst exporting or of the time frame was at a different setting. Apparently Elle responded and said that There was no problems with the edit she had. She had tried her hardest to correct this problem but each time I was sent back the footage not much had been improved. As a result the animation is most definitely not up to it’s highest level of quality.  

Of course there is many things about this animation I am not happy with especially with my own attributes of the initial 2D animation. There a few things I would like to go back an correct such as re drawing the frames that Robyn a had helped proved me as well as sorting out the time pace of the overall animation. 

Throughout these past few weeks of animating it has not been my most successful mentally I have been drained and stressed out about the whole ordeal and had really under estimated the work load I have given myself as a result is it that within the animation and my reflective journals. I am vey disappointed of myself to have not been able to achieve to my full potential and I do feel that I have let my team down. I would like to continue to improve one this animation as a whole to it’s fully potential.

Personal comment: Altercations 

I have mentioned previous that I have been under a great deal of stress now that I have had to re do the whole animation sequence now on my own I have come to realise how ambitious this has now become and have underestimated the time I had originally planned to get this polish stage completed. with that I had asked  Robyn to help me complete the animation. she was very willing to give me a helping hand. With that as part of the 2D animation I have provided the first and second sequence of the animation as for robyn she was able to complete the third and final sequence. 

Understandable the results of the is animation will appear quite differently due to our drawing styles. This is something I would still like to continue to improve after submission but right now I am clad I was bale to get all of the help I need from the group and an happy to see this completed.

Animating progress: Polish

During the polishing stages of the characters performance I was also cleaning up and perfecting the performance of the paper planes. making sure that the pacing is timed efficiently.

Rough sequence completed:

There are many things in this sequence that I am not happy with. but with the crunch of time catching up I really need to push on forward and get onto the stages of the polishing sequence. Right now in this current stage the stress is becoming quite over whelming.

Production progress:

Personal comment: An extra helping hand. 

These few weeks I have spent in the animating process polishing the frames. It is has been a roller coaster, with many highs and low points throughout the whole duration of this production. The stress has weighed heavily over me, trying my best to get things completed and to give enough time for Elle to do the colouring. At this current stage I feel very disappointed with myself for not managing my time more efficiently and potentially letting the group down. 

Besides that Robyn has recently got in contact with me and just wondering how my progress has been. whilst venting out Robyn was opened to give a helping hand with the polish. Ideally I don't really want to give other members of the group more work to do however at this current stage I need all of the helping hand i can get. Robyn is in a good position whereby she can spare the time to give me a helping hand. Robyn made it clear that she is not overly confident with the line work and has said that the quality would not be 100%. 

This I can totally sympathise with and i can understand that the styles of drawings will appear slightly different on the animation. However Im at the end of my rope and I need this to be completed. 

I have given Robyn the final sequence of the animation ( The boy is swarmed by the paper planes and eventually making his escape). To give her a helping hand I have sent her the PNG files of the rough animation for her to trace over as well as sending her videos / stills of the initial style frame of the animation.

I do feel a little bit bad to be giving extra work for her however I could not be happier with the support I have been receiving from the team.

Sequence 3: 

The boy first encounters the creature. I was quite happy with this sequence i particularly liked the paper planes flying through. likewise the delay reaction from the child was played out nicely.

Sequence 2: 

In this sequence the boy is falling into the other world. This sequence contain the secondary pass with now much evenly paced and more fluent movement in the performance.
