It's not a place, a building, or a city – home is where the people I love are.
It doesn't necessarily mean family, either. I can say, "I'm going home," when I visit my friends, who I have decided are my family.

♡ Just my idea of a chosen family ♡
.
Cuz, yeah romantic love is fine but have u ever exchanged looks with a friend and had a silent conversation in front of the whole group? Yeah me neither but wouldn't it be nice if I could
.
I don't have friends currently but until I do i am content with the knowledge that my poems are nice and my collages pretty
And I watched as she took a breath, and her mouth formed a word, or the beginning of a word, before she exhaled softly, filling the room with silence.
The pitch black of darkness becomes tangible when you see the flash of a spark. Whereas before it seemed like the world itself, you now realise it is just the absence of something else. The formerly easy silence was now all around us and in me, like sudden gravity under my heart.
I wondered, then, if there is a place where unspoken words go.
I wonder if it is teeming with confessions of love.
I wonder if one of them is hers.
I know that most of them are mine.
I wrote a piece, you can read it here.
