Chloe had stayed up doing some editing for her next segment documenting the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and she had to treat herself to a caramel macchiato to keep her going throughout the rest of the day. Of course, she wasn’t prepared as to who she would run into the moment she entered the coffee shop. Her heart dropping at the sight. “Shit...” she mumbled to herself as she quickly grabbed a coffee brochure, holding it up to hide her face.

The Christmas edition for Lola and Elijah :’)
Who starts putting up decorations in October? Elijah would be alllll over this. He missed so much while he was in jail and he’d want to soak up every possible second of the holiday fun. He’d be putting up the lights outside while Melody and Lola instruct him what to do/etc.
Who buys the advent calendars? Tbh I see Lola’s mother doing that for Melody??
Who places mistletoes all around the house? Lola!
Who wraps the presents for other people? All three of them do it together, but it’s obvious right away that Eli sucks at it.
Who puts the final star/angel on the top of the Christmas tree? Eli would lift up Melody to put it on the tree, which makes him cry just a little bit because Melody looks so happy and content.
Who’s the one that hates eggnog? Eli compares eggnog to toilet water whenever it’s in his sight tbh.
Who’s the one that bakes Christmas cookies for guests? Again, the three of them do it together, but it ends up being Lola doing all the work and Eli and Melody just being taste testers.
Who sends out the Christmas cards? Eli would have a lot of fun doing this, actually. Getting to have solid proof of his beautiful family would legit bring tears to his eyes.
Who knows all the words to twelve days of Christmas? Melody does, and she tries to teach it to Eli, but he’s completely lost after the first verse.
Who’s the better snowman builder? Eli builds it for the girls, and then they do all the decorating, so it’s a team effort.
Who starts snowball fights? Lola starts the fight and Eli makes sure he finishes it (;
Who’s the one that wakes the other on Christmas morning by playing Christmas songs really loudly? When Melody wants her parents up at the crack of dawn, she totally blasts the radio until they come running into the room thinking something is wrong. Surprise!

Three things I love about roleplaying:
The friends I make.
The characters that Adopt Me™ and lowkey take over my life.
Doing research about particular things to bring it to life through character. ( I’ve learned soooo much from doing so!)
Two pet peeves:
CLIQUES!!! RUIN!!! EVERYTHING!!
Seemingly being the only person interested / putting forth effort in an established plot.

1. Chance to make new buds2. Throwing out head cannons3. Having a mutual enjoyment in a pairing to the point of tagging and such
Two pet peeves:
1. Double standards? i.e. people making you wait weeks for replies but expect them instantly2. People who act like they’re into threads only to dump them and ghost out

Maybe he was being too harsh. No, he was most certainly being too harsh -- Blake didn’t have to question that. He was just that good at scaring people away. And that scared of letting people in. He knew there was worse out there. God, he knew there was much worse out there. People were in pain, constantly, and lost everything all the time. He was confronted with that by his job on a daily basis. Yet to him, losing his youngest sister without really knowing what had happened to her or whether she was still alive was also something that equaled the worst that could happen to him. He preferred to stay on his own, ever since. And it was the reason why he suddenly felt like a deer hurdled up against a tree.
Too close. All of this was too close, and too intimate, and he couldn’t have that. He didn’t need to let anyone else in on the mess that was his head. It was enough that he had to constantly worry about Alessia, the last thing he needed was another person to worry about -- another person who he was afraid to tell everything, in fear that they’d worry about him in return. He just could not have that. “Just -- go, okay? Go, leave me alone. It’s better that way for both of us.”
