Damn Odell really stuck in a hard spot. Now she know damn well she should’ve said something the minute she found out about Lo. I’m sure Odell told her about feeling Lo. Why she wait this long is crazy.

what I'm really worried about is what this lil singer's intentions are by having Tarin have lunch with him. Like it might be innocent but for some reason I'm getting a bad feeling that he may try and put the moves on her. But Tarin is way too infatuated with Hill and vice versa to even think about doing that. I just can't wait to see Hill and Tarin's relationship grow and develop further. They're not exclusive yet right? It seems like they still have their guard up but slowly taking it down

Tarin having brunch with Haneef is purely innocent lol. As you said, Tarin’s too infatuated – perhaps even too immersed – with Hill at the moment to be receptive of Haneef if he were to make an advance. He does have a pregnant girlfriend. That should mean something, shouldn’t it?

As of right now, at this point in the story, Tarin and Hill are not exclusive, nor are they in a monogamous relationship. 

Slowly but surely, it does seem that both Tarin and Hill are letting down their guards. They’re more comfortable with each other than ever before. Tarin certainly is.

I wish I had the power and the ability to dish out chapters and give you what you want. I know this story has been set up as some slow-burning romance between these two due to my pacing and I apologize for that.

I think eventually when I have the time I'm just going to read the story all over again since it's been a while but nonetheless an amazing journey. The last two chapters picked up like it never left and blended in effortlessly with everything else. I was surprised to read that Tarin is slowly letting Riche go in the most simplest of ways. I understood he is a very big part of her life even without him being around any longer, but that couldn't hold her stuck in time any longer. What I'm really-

By all means, feel free to reread. I hope it lives up to the standards of being a decent read after all this time. Being that there was a substantial amount of time had passed previous to posting the two latest chapters, I can totally understand if you (and any other readers) need a refresher of the plot and recent events leading up to the recent chapters. 

At this point, Tarin is coping with the acceptance of her great loss. Although one can never mind the time in which it takes an individual to properly grieve, Tarin’s endured the weighted emotional throes of her former love for several years. Perhaps with Hill present in her life (in some capacity), she can now find a healthier avenue to cope and move on emotionally.

I finished reading the chapters earlier in the day and I had so many questions but I kind of forgot them since it's been a while lol. But with Tarin and Hill being intimate on this level, does this officially mean that they're tied together in one way or another? Does this make them an item fr or are they still going with the flow at this point? I was so confused on why Tarin wasn't answering Hill till i figured out that this was all apart of the plan lmaoo. Great updates, girl. Loved it all!

Neither of them seem to be closed off to the idea of being together, although Tarin was hesitant with recognizing her feelings initially. As of right now, all that’s apparent is that they share mutual feelings for each other.

her cue to open up and have someone else to lean on, instead of the mother of her ex. B/c soon that's gonna be the mother that Tarin leans on, especially since her relationship with her mother is so strained. That's also so interesting how both women seem to have trouble relationships with their mother. I'm just curious to see what my love birds Hill and Tarin have been up to :) amazing chapter, girl. Glad that you're back!

Issues can occur from Nicole still maintaining a relationship with Hill’s mother. At the same time, she does look to her as a maternal figure. If there does come a point in time where Nicole chooses to back away from that relationship and dissociate from Barbara Dawson, then it’ll be a difficult hurdle for Nicole to get through. 

That is an interesting similarity that both Nicole and Tarin both have parental issues, issues with maternal figures specifically. Tarin is slowly but surely working out her issues with hers. Nicole needs to find peace within herself to resolve hers. 

I know you’re curious to see how Hill and Tarin are doing. I took a break from writing to respond back to feedback.

Girl, I almost dropped my phone when I saw that you updated. I also was trying my best to prolong the inevitable of reading because I knew that once I read the chapter, it might be a few days till the next one and I didn't want that to happen lol. Nicole has a whole bottle of problems I think that are seldom we ever really hear about or is brought up as much. This new guy that she's talking to however seems interested in learning all aspects of her life and I feel like she should take that as

Nicole does certainly have her own internal issues that she might need to tap into by expressing them to someone. Perhaps voicing them to Troy and actually getting to the root (although she is aware of where most of her stems from) could be beneficial in the long run. Troy does seem interested in learning more about, which does raise the suspicion of whether their “situation” goes beyond sleeping with one another.

I'm so happy they found baby girl. I know that's a big weight off of Trey's shoulder. My only thing is that now that axel is where he used to grow up, what does that mean & how does it tie into the whole dynamics. Like what does his location symbolizes & why there? Does Cam know axel better than we think?

is it really a weight off his shoulders though? because there’s still so many factors out of his control: where Cam is, if she’s alive, and Axel and his role in all of this. question is, is he partly responsible? 

to Trey, there’s no way this is a coincidence. Axel basically just admitted to his guilt without even knowing it. so now what? I think Trey is a bit torn. should he find Axel and get more information out of him or just focus on finding Cam? and with what consequences? oh, and now that his daughter has been found, should he take her to get checked out by a doctor or just consider it a victory that she’s even breathing? poor baby. 

you know what, it’s funny you brought up Cam’s possible connection to Axel. I think that’s interesting, and not many people would think twice about that. that’s crazy, though. maybe Cam has a connection to Axel, which is why he seems to be a little too protective of her. that would sure be a twist, huh? lol.
