You know, I just realized neither Carina or Layla have pronouns in their character descriptions. Maybe one of them will be nonbinary, after all.

I can hope😭 Monster High moved us so far forward with G3. I’d hate for Moonspell to step back because of a certain regime.

There should be a little Buried Secrets styling playset that features Frankie and a bunch of fun mix and match pieces, including multiple different prosthetics. Colorful, glitter, maybe one that glows in the dark…the line is already so creative with them, I imagine kids would enjoy switching them up!

Honestly, the best thing I ever did for myself with Monster High g3 was accepting the abundance of pink. New era, new target audience, new design approach…it bothered me at first, as someone who loved the alt goth styles g1 emulated.

Once I embraced the changes, though, I was able to accept g3 as its own, new and fresh take—including the presence of pink in almost all of the dolls😂🩷

Going on four years later and I actually prefer this generation over the original. I adore everything it stands for and have even come to love the changes I once approached so cautiously—especially Lagoona! I love this tropical mermaid sea monster! She’s beautiful, whimsical and fierce af. I own more dolls of this version than I ever did or wanted of her original design😆

G3 Venus is unofficially meant to be the child of Audrey II, right? It’s not just me?

Apart from both being Venus Flytrap-type monsters, Little Shop is set in NY, and Audrey II literally has a song called “Mean Green Mother from Outer Space.” In contrast, one of Venus’ lines in the chorus of her character song is “all Green but never Mean.” Plus I’m pretty sure Audrey II is always played and or/puppeteered by black performers/actors, and G3 Venus is without question a black-coded character. (Hopefully the wording of this last part isn’t insensitive - if so, please let me know and I’ll change it!)

I haven’t seen or read any confirmation from the MH team and all of this could be coincidence buuut I don’t think so😆at the very least, it will remain my headcanon until I’m proven otherwise.
