Events in Mr Love Queen’s Choice (Love and Producer)
So there are different types of events in the game, each designed
The more common events include: Side Shoot events, Ranking Events and Double Expert bonuses.
For Side Shoot events, basically there is a limited edition card. Through doing side shoots of that character, you will earn items that you can then use to redeem shards of the limited edition card. There are only 3 shoots in total for the event. And all shoots can only be played 5 times each for free. So that means you need to use diamonds to get more plays to get the items. You will also get 5 of the items each day during the event (lasting one week) for free. For SR cards, you need to collect 1160 of the items over the week. So I’d say to pace it out and fully utilise the 5 free items as well as the free plays each day.
One thing to note about these events is that the story behind the shoot is incomplete. If you were to just go through the event but not collect the card, you’d definitely feel like there has to be more, which might be released the next day. Unfortunately no, the only way to know the full story is to get the card, as the events are usually completed, or related to the date of the card. You are playing the same 3 stages everyday to collect the items. Case in point being the Cat Ear card of Li Zeyan (Victor) I’m currently trying to collect. For collecting 160, 350, 560, 860, 1160 cat ear headbands, I will receive different number of shards (and other bonuses) that can be used fo combine to form the following Li Zeyan (Victor) card:
The other common event is Ranking event. This is based on your scores as you play through the main plot. You compete against other players to raise your ranking and once you compete or win a certain amount of times, you will get items that can once again be used to redeem shards of a limited edition card. Eg: for every 5 times you compete against another player you can collect 5 hair ties and every 5 times you win get another 5 hair ties. The number of times needed may increase gradually but once you collect enough hair ties you can redeem shards of the card.
In most cases, to get an SR card you’d need to use around 2500 diamonds and 10k diamonds for an SSR card. Exceptions do occur of course.
There are also double expert level bonus events occasioanlly. Where the odd or even number expert chapters will give you double the amount of rewards for a certain period. These events are just to boost you across the expert chapters so that you can collect items to evolve your cards. These events may also occur while other events are taking place.
There are also events where they give you a stunning card, and you have to pay to get. For these cards, there’s literally nothing you can do besides pay to get a card. As you purchase sets or stones to redeem items for shards of a card. Unlike ranking or shoot events there are no daily gifts or actions to do. You just need to decide if you are willing to pay or not. And of course, typically these are are gorgeous and pretty strong cards. Example below:
The game also does give out free cards, where all you need to do is complete a simple action every day and you can redeem a free card, happens with both SR and SSR cards. Example being the free Xu Mo/ Lucien card I got below. All I needed to do was water a plant every day for 12 days and then I could redeem it. Naturally freely given cards stats are not as good as those that you pay or depend on luck for. But hey its a nice card and you never know when you need it.
