chaotic academia is brought to a whole new level when your phone and laptop share a single charger and they're both about to die, but you have an essay, a quiz, and a discussion board due at 11:59 pm when it is currently an hour till, and your dorm's wifi is currently broken so your phone hotspot is your only connection to canvas, but that drains your phone battery, so your computer is plugged in, but then your phone has to be plugged in so your computer dies therefore erasing all of your previous work because the internet connection was shit all along.

Yesterday I sent out a bunch of emails, read a lot of articles, annotated them, then wrote a couple of responses. I got a fair amount of work done, enough to get me through today, but didn’t finish it ‘cause a special friend of mine offered to show me around the cutest small town—where I spotted this luxurious willow tree. It was the kind of day that defines late September for the rest of your life.
