hi hello i'm summer and i'm super pumped to be writing in this group as well as finally take rey up as a muse b/c this has been a long time comin' ( i love her so much i weep ). i've been on and off around tumblr for a few years and seeing this group really helped revive the desire to do things on here again. anyway, here's some things concerning my interpretation of rey
i will use material from both the movie and the novel adaptation ( still need to read a few more things that focus around her, though, and that will hopefully happen soon ).
as for rey herself: she's a young girl that has had to live her whole life waiting for family that wasn't coming back ( she always remained hopeful, even if deep down she knew otherwise ). the harsh conditions of jakku ( the planet she was sent to for currently unknown reasons ) hardened her into a resourceful and adaptable young woman.
tbh i plan on expanding a lot more on her characteristics/everything in general in my dossier page, which should be written soon!
should also mention that rey is aware of her force-sensitivity but has not been able to refine and train with luke.
heyoo !! it’s kelly, back at it again with another chara. i love psylocke sm omg. i love olivia munn’s portrayal of psylocke but i highkey would cast jamie chung too b/c ... why not™ so ANYWAYS ! here’s a lil bit of info on betsy
timelines and affiliations will be a bit WONKY for betsy b/c homegirl has been thru TOO MUCH
but she’s been residing w/ the x-men for four years now before the fall of it and before her time in magneto’s x-men
she was affiliated with the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, later defected, and laid low for a while ( which rly wasn’t all that low b/c she took up modeling )
for a while was with S.T.R.I.K.E ( basically the british version of S.H.I.E.L.D ) b/c she came in contact w/ them
from england, so yes she speaks w/ an english accent
honestly is just sick of people using her b/c of her powers
thinks back to being a Horseman of the Apocalypse lmao...
but ok, she’s hella powerful though
her telepathic powers are on par w/ Jean Grey and Charles Xavier
pretty much will be the third most powerful telepath on Earth
she carries a katana named, shurayuki w/ her at all times
she can focus her powers in creating a psionic katana or crossbow ( or generally any weapon tbh )
can kinetically charge her weapons w/ psionic energy. it glows purple when it’s charged
as far as physical appearances go, she has purple eyes and her hair is dark purple ( it almost looks black )
oh !! she was also a charter pilot before joining S.T.R.I.K.E

So off the bat, I will warn that this is my first time trying BB here, but I am eager to test him out and have a good time getting to know him better and seeing how he ticks. Notes on how I’m going to take him:
I haven’t read the comic books, so I’m going to go based off the Teen Titans show with him, for the most part
I am planning on reading up some more on him, but the basic of his story is that Garfield Logan or Beast Boy was brought up by his parents in Africa, where he ended up bitten by one of the monkeys his parents wanted to study and contracted a serious illness called Sakutia.
In the hopes of saving him his parents gave him some new serum, which ended up giving him his shape-shifting abilities. As a side effect, his skin, hair, and eyes turned green.
His parents died a few year later in a boating accident, and Garfield ended up joining the Doom Patrol.
However, the harsh discipline in Doom Patrol ended up alienating him, and he found himself in a new city, where he wound up meeting his new teammates.
He’s still a complete goofball, and rather than taking the dimension mess seriously, he’ll suggest people take the time to just enjoy it, see what happens
