“Elijah, why would I ever ask you to leave. Not ever. And I know you think you’d be doing the right thing by leaving but I don’t want that. I don’t want you to ever give up. You want to keep me happy, so stay. Keep me happy by staying.”

“Well let’s just hope there is more good then bad, yes? But who knows what’s going to happen. Let’s say we are separated one day, I may not be here physically but I’ll always be here with you. No matter what.”

“I’m always on your side Finn, but sometimes the things you say can be a little much… And they’re just trying to do their job.”

“I’m not sure if that was sex ed or Sunday school.”

“Oh would you shut up? It’s not my fault that you ended up in there. And it honestly wasn’t the bad…Was it?”

“There’s a locker number and combination in the back of my textbook. Are you up for an adventure?”

“I swear, that’s all you ever want to do anymore. And who knows how long ago someone wrote that. It’s probably a dead end or someone already got to it.” She looked between him and the book in his hand. “I guess we could go.”

“When are they going to understand that no one in this school is interested in eating tuna melts every Tuesday?”

“If you’re that upset about it, you could always go down to the principle’s office and make a complaint. I don’t know how far it will get you but at least you tried.”

“What a waste of twenty thousand followers.”

“You can’t blame them for not wanting to join us on this little adventure at 3 am in the morning, especially for some little prank. Hell, I wouldn’t even be here if you didn’t show up in my window to get me.”

“You know we’ve never been single at the same time before.”

“It’s more like you’ve never been single before. Don’t know if you haven’t noticed, but I don’t have a long line of guys trying to take me out on a date. But what are you trying to get at Finn?”

“I think you sound awesome.”

“You don’t have to lie Finn… I’m okay with being boring, someone has to do it. And it just so happens that it’s me. But thank you for trying to cheer me up a bit.”

“He’s not the most important part of my story.”

“No, but he’s a big part of it. Isn’t he? You know, when were you going to tell me about it? Wait — you weren’t going to tell me, were you? I can’t believe it. I thought you actually gave a damn about me.”   

“Memories are things you have to keep and use to move forward.”

“Even if they weren’t the best of them? Or if you don’t want to move forward? Finn, I don’t want to just have memories with you, I don’t want you to just be a small mystery of my life. I actually want you in it. I guess what I’m saying is, I don’t want to move on from you.”
