So I am chatting with my MIL after running her on an errand, and we were talking about all the little house fixes that I do on where I live, and on their house. And how it relates to what I do a living. She said I was always busy, and I said " that's my purpose, I fix what is broken". In my head I am screaming, OMG, I am Hemmer! I have always gravitated to the Engineers in Trek, over the command staff. EG: Scotty in TOS, Geordi in TNG So, thank you @brucehorak for a most memorable and inspiring character.
