In 1959 Architect Geoffrey Bawa rented the third of a row of four small bungalows which occupied a tiny alley at the end of 33rd Lane off Bagatelle Road , Colombo 3 at the edge of what had been the grounds of Alfred House. He transformed those row of house to the paradise you see on the left, now known as “Number 11”
