After another 13 hour day, we had planned on riding up road to Buffalo but we were beset with debris and construction equipment. It feels like they know we're coming and they have been waiting.
Buffalo. Are we still only in Buffalo? Arrived last in the evening yesterday and the city gate was dark but we made our way through to the hotel.
Up this morning to Hamburg. Rode into the headwinds for almost 9 hours today. Drew told us about his job: "You have to have men who are moral and at the same time who are able to utilize their primordial instincts to kill without feeling, without passion, without judgment, without judgment. Because it’s judgment that defeats us". Stephen said "You’re an errand boy, sent by grocery clerks, to collect a bill". Andy said a dog asked him about his helmet.
We've moved through a place where all space and time have melded into one stochastic mass. Days feel like hours and hours feel like weeks. Everything is different, chaotic and changing. Therefore it's all the same.
Ate pizza again for the third time this week. The desk clerk told us "that the middle letters in life are if, man". We might be cracking up.
