I love how.. In just a weird state of "I need to think because my thoughts won't hush, but if I think about anything, It Will Hurt", I just pop on marble race videos. No, not the clicky clanky ones (I can't find a good channel), I pop on one specific channel: MIKAN
There's so much lore BAKED into my mind. Is any of it canon in videos? No. Absolutely none of it is. Is there still a whole fucking drama deal, respective teams and captains, deals and strikes, and neurodivergency? Abso-fucking-lutely.
Each time, I bet (read: hope) on Orange. There's a deal that's been around for a WHILE between Orange and Red. Peach (sometimes called Pink) is Red's little sister, and they BATTLE this shit out. All fun and games between them. Magenta (I call him Pink or Hot Pink more often then not) is teamed with Orange and Red, and if the roster is large enough, then Peach joins.
But, when I say drama, I fucking mean it. Originally, Orange was teamed with Yellow and Maroon, but oh dear God. Maroon is not a team fucking player. Technically, all the games are either teams of the same color, or their captains as solos, so deals and whatnot don't have to happen. But, if the cause is right (Pink and Red joined at the same time because of something in their family), then they can discuss it off-track. However, cheating is illegal on-track, and if you're caught, your disqualified.
Like- This shit goes DEEP. And no: Yellow and Maroon don't team anymore. Sky and True, whichever one is competing, tag on with Yellow, along with Green. Maroon can be seen shucking off with Violet, and no one truly knows WHAT the fuck happens between them.
Like... Why does my brain do this? I'm not mad, I'm just wondering like.. Why??
If they were personified, it would probably be closer to like.. Auto racing. Stock car or sports car. Semi to full contact.
Anyways, if you want more lore on this, ask away? I've been watching marble races for a while, and the rosters can get HUGE. They've only expanded through the years.
