Okay here is a ramdom post since I see many people attacking @margaretkart for no reason and keep spewing the same "Greeks cannot be pale" here is a small color scale for ya
The first is my nephew the second is me and the third one is my mother
My nephew is a red-haired rosy cheeked baby with bright blue eyes to the color of the sky like his father and his grandmother. In summer he doesn't tan but gets sunburns easily. He gets all red by the sun every time.
I have a typical olive-pale skin brown hair and honey eyes like my grandmother and I have my father's complexion although my father has darker hair and eyes. In the summer I tan but not impressively. I used to get nasty sunburns myself as a child especially on my face and back.
My mother is arguably the darkest in our family (in fact she is often considered too dark for our family standards and she has tender nicknames liked "tanned lady" or "dark lady"). She has dark hair and eyes but in her youth her hair was lighter and would turn auburn if staying under the sun. She tans easily and she is the luckiest in our family in the summer because she doesn't burn easily.
We are all direct family by the way. My mother's sister (nephew's grandmother) has bright blue eyes like the sea and used to have reddish brown hair in her youth. Like she is the polar opposite of her own sister!
