OK so at some point last night I was digging around about Thelemic holidays again, and from a few websites I saw that there's no official or dogmatically prescribed way to celebrate any of the Thelemic holidays. On the one hand, I guess that explains how, The Holy Year of Thelema notwithstanding, there's only so much information I get about the Thelemic holidays. The only thing I tend to see is Liber Al Vel Legis summarising the core celebrations (holy feasts) of Thelema, and The Three Days of the Writing of the Book of the Law being celebrated by readings of each chapter of Liber AL from April 8th to April 10th. (which is very useful to know and internalise for April). On the other hand, it also means I can figure out my own relatively simple ideas for how to commemorate most of them (and I guess I have to lol).
Yes! I love this and completely agree. One of the things I enjoy seeing is the diversity of ways people celebrate. The creativity people bring to their own unique celebrations and traditions is so inspiring. My book may have been the first word on some of these things, but it certainly should not be the last. I hope it gives people the little extra push to bring more magick into their life.
