What is gematria?
Hey! Sorry it took me a while, I didn’t want to answer on mobile :/
Gematria- actually, gimatria would be a more accurate phonetic spelling- is Jewish numerology. Each letter of the Hebrew alphabet (alef-bet) is associated with a number, and in gematria, you use that to find the numerical value of words. Essentially, the actual purpose of gematria is to find relation between things through the numerical value of words. There’s probably more to it that I don’t know. Like I said, I’m no expert.
For example: The Hebrew word for love (אהבה) has a numerical value of 13. א=1; ה=5; ב=2; ה=5. Another word that has a numerical value of 13 is חה, which is actually an onomatopoeia for the sound of laughter. Take from that information what you will.
So yeah, send me words or names to find out what their numerical value is, or how two things are related!
Okay so an interesting fact about myself (not actually sure if this is interesting or just meh but whatever) is I hate flying. Like, after a problem with one of my flights from Texas to NJ, I refuse to fly anywhere in the US. I would rather drive 46 hours (which I just did for a 9 day roadtrip) then sit on a plane.
I personally am the complete opposite, i hate driving far distances, i would rather fly than drive any time. :)
