Finally Friday! Got me thinking pretty deep this morning (you may wanna step back to avoid the splatter🤣) About how this mug right here came from a ball of clay... a bit of magic, some luck & visions in my head. ( I think we all can agree, that can be a scary place🤪) That less than 3 weeks ago this pot... wasn’t even a thing, but in fact... it’s taken decades to get here. That my past experiences started forming this mug years before I even started working with clay. From my time as a waitress I knew it needed to be light and balanced. Married to an alcoholic new it, like me would need strength. My time as Mom to a boy, I knew it should be able to bounce ... maybe at least once. My time in both retail & as a hairstylist, that it should be pretty or at least interesting and nice to touch. My time as a Cafe cook/owner taught me hard work, & small business things that it would take to sell it. My time in hell, working for a soul sucking corporation (you know who you are!🤣) showed me that, it surely can’t be all there is..... ALL of that got me here, to Super Hubs & Pottery.... and this mug. ❤️ How did you get here??
