On the easel, my newest painting...almost done, maybe 😊 A few years ago I started a series of paintings for a show I was in, Totem and Myth, at Island Mountain Art Gallery. I had kind of abandoned the project after the show was over and the idea for this painting remained a line drawing. I decided to finish it this week. The eagle is very sacred in Native American culture and is believed to carry our prayers to the Creator.
