I feel this so hard.I have my one best friend and love my other friends but I hate hanging out with them in groups because I have to put a lot more effort into conversations to not be left out and face the possibility of people talking over me *sigh*

I feel this completely! Feels a bit better to know I'm not alone there! It is more hurtful than frustrating in my opinion. I do hope that that works out for you sooner rather than later! <3

kookiecas ikr, it’s always been that way for me. Group hang out always drains my energy faster than hanging out with one friend, because It’s so easy to become that one person who just kind of look at the sky and zooms out for ten seconds yet no one notices.  Like, i can be a really good friend with someone, but in a group of friends, bam, suddenly everybody is closer to everybody else and my good friend’ friends are all ~good-er~ friends with my good friend than me lol. And that’s the best case scenario, usually it’s one friend/good friend brings me to a group of their friends/acquaintances and i’m that one stranger nobody really knows. 

colorfulsammy lol tbh when it comes down to it, i only have one real friend in uni right now. idk about you, but when it comes to that one real friend I have right now, i always feel bad when i hang out with her alone, esp if we go to a party or a pub and it’s never a very exciting experience for her bc she never gets to talk to a lot of other people at the party or meet a lot of people at the pub? i feel like that one loser friend ruining their evening and taking up their time, and i never feel comfortable enjoying a moment or two of silence with my friends, it sucks because i absolutely love to sit with people and just not talk for 3 hours :\ My current best friend is one true cinnamon roll (and i’m probably her most problematic friend tbh lol) and never seem to mind her mediocre clubbing/party/hang out experience, but still.
