Cockles is the most beautiful friendship, Destiel is the most beautiful romance.

Misha and Jensen show us how a friendship should be. They show each other that they love each other through touching and in words. There are clearly a lot of love between them, and they are not afriad to show it, they’re not afraid to touch and express their feelings. Dean and Cass, then? Well, if Destiel was a true friendship they would show their love for each other way more than they do, because they wouldn’t be afraid because they would know “we’re just friends.” We can’t see this kind of affection between Dean and Cass. Instead they just stare at each other (at times awkwardly) and they show their affection by keep saving each other and chosing each other above everyone else. How awkward doesn’t it feel btw when Cass says “I love you” and Dean understands he means only him? He immediately looks away, and Cass can’t look at Dean (or anyone else for that matter) when he says it. Unfortunately, I think that’s as far as either of them would go with expressing their emotions, because THEY’RE JUST TOO DAMN SCARED.
