Practice some coloring! For beginners!
1. You should have some sketches you like, create new layer and just paint in top of the sketch! the new layer or the brush will need to be on multiply mode, 2. you will see that some traces from the sketch are better not there so let’s erase them coloring over the sketch (sketch layer or new normal layer), 3. Add last details: more shadows in the hair, white part of the eye, ...
This method is not for create ultimate pieces but the resulting piece has the soul of the sketch and will make you practice your digital coloring. <3
