Vanessa and Harry ‘Vanessa, sweetie, wake up, it’s 11 pm,’ Harry whispered in my ear. I slowly opened my eyes. ‘What? 11 pm? Why do you wake me up at 11 pm?’ I said with a morning voice. ‘Love, say hello to the world, it’s New Year’s Eve and I already woke you up so we could have one last hour of 2012 together and start 2013 together.’ Harry answered and hugged me tight. He was so sweet. I yawned, stretched me out and shove my feet in my all stars. ‘Wauw, you look beautiful,’ Harry laughed. ‘Tss, like you always look like a total prince when you’re just woken up,’ I said and pushed him gently to the door. ‘Oh wait, maybe I can’t show me like this to your family, you can go downstairs already, I’ll change, I’ll be ready in a second,’ I said to Harry and gave him a kiss.

Harry went downstairs, after he ruined my hair, which was already ruined, and a long kiss. Good, my dress. I bought it with Harry last week, a short black dress. I was in the changing room, trying billions of dresses. But no one was the right one for me. I thought Harry would get annoyed and sat on a chair like most of the boyfriends in that shop did, but he didn’t. He came to my changing room, every time with another dress. I think I tried all dresses in all colours in that shop, until Harry came to me with just a short black dress. It was nothing special, but when I showed it to Harry, I saw his eyes sparkling. He looked at me for minutes, until he suddenly said: wow Vanessa, you look beautiful,’ I smiled at him and we bought the dress. After we bought that dress he got annoyed by the way, so we went home again. But I didn’t mind, he had found the perfect dress for me.

‘Vanessa? Are you sure I don’t have to help you?’ I heard Harry’s voice from downstairs. ‘No babe, you really don’t have to, I’m almost done,’ I screamed back. I put on the dress, fixed my hair, put on my make up so everyone could look at me without seeing me as a ghost and went downstairs. ‘You see mum, I have a good taste for dresses!’ Harry said when I walked in the living room. ‘Yeah okay you have convinced me, you have a good taste,’ Anne said while she looked at my dress. I laughed and asked how long we got ‘till 12 o’clock. ‘Oh guys the champagne!’ Anne said and she ran to the kitchen. It was 5 minutes for 12. ‘Come on love, we have to go outside!’ Harry said, took my hand and we ran outside. ‘Champagne for everyone, here you go guys,’ Anne said when we were all standing outside, waiting till it was 12 o’clock to see all the firework around us. ‘5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY 2013!’ We all screamed together. I heard all the firework around me when I looked in Harry’s beautiful green eyes. He looked back. ‘You’re beautiful, and I’ll never let you go, I love you,’ Harry said softly. ‘Love you too Haz, forever,’ I said. And then he kissed me.
