What is Velvet's personality? Give us info on the pure cinnamon roll

I thought you’d never ask! You see, I was planning on drawing Velvet a few days ago, and I’ve thought about her personality a lot. 

She’s a very timid yet hot-headed little puff, and though she’s a child, her parents have since left her. The thing is, she’s still trying to find them, and thinks they forgot her. She longs for a family, and is very determined to find them. She’s easily made upset, but still very considerate and nice. Confrontation spooks her, and she’s an ambitious puff with many goals. Velvet is also very fussy, and can’t help but cry about her problems- and she trusts way too easily. She’d confide in anyone just to feel better, since she’s impatient. You could describe her as a fussy and ambitous shy girl who’s considerate and empathetic with other people- yet hates being forgotten, being lonely, and rejects sadness and negative emotions.

How would Paintra react to one of her friends being very insecure? Can we get a little snippet?

You got it! Notice this takes place before Paintra is sealed in a canvas.

“What’s the matter, sis? You haven’t been yourself lately!” Paintra chirped, spinning as her sister looked towards her. “It’s nothing-” She started, but before she could finish, Paintra interrupted her with a laugh. “Don’t lie, I know what it is. You’re art is great! I’ve never seen anything better,” Paintra exclaimed, patting her sister on the back. “Don’t worry- if anyone ever picks on you about anything, just let me know and I’ll sick ‘em!”

Do you have any ocs?

Yes, actually! Note, she’s a work on progress, so don’t expect a blog for her yet anytime soon! Oc under the cut!

So, my concept for this oc is that she’s an alien princess who’s disguised herself as a Floralian noble to get info on the people there and their lands. Her alien species is based off sheeps, lambs, and goats- you know how you were always told to count sheep when you needed sleep? They’re also based off of cows, pigs, and chicken- mostly being a farm animal based species.

Well, her kind has the ability to put people to sleep and/or mesmerize them. She brought a few of her most trusted butlers and maids with her in her stay in Floralia. I’ve chosen the name ‘Iridesca’ because her planet and people value art and dreams, all of them wanting mostly peace- seeing as her home is mostly rural, and that nights are a lot longer than days- everyone there enjoys dreaming and just..doing as they please. 

It isn’t a perfect community, however. The amount of laziness in their kind has caused many people not working hard to grow the plants they all eat, and resources have been low- simply because their planet’s environment requires people to help it in order for anything to be made. After many years of poverty in less fortunate areas of the unnamed community, Iridesca’s father instructs her to find another community and collect info…(Because they may or may not wanna take over Floralia…*they do.*) Iridesca is terrified of having her cover blown, though. She doesn’t know what will happen to her then- but she knows if she makes one wrong move, she’ll be caught. Whoo, that’s all I have right now, Nonnie. Sorry it’s so long!

Got any headcanons for Paintra DX?

Yes, actually! 

I think Paintra DX is a trickster- but a mean one. She likes to mess with people. Paintra is sweet- we’ll call this one spicy. She’s feisty and full of sass, but still very talkative and spontaneous. Bothering her is a big no no. Comparing her to Paintra, Paintra is very nice (unless you wake her or bother her) and tries to be very welcoming, and is honestly a bubbly fun witch. (Who’s secrets are kept under a smile.) Paintra DX is rather pushy and though she likes company, she’s inclined to be very secretive, very tricky, and hot-headed, definitely. (Instead of hiding her woes under a smile, like Paintra, she rather resorts to a more hostile one, so people leave her alone.)

What does Paintra's home look like?

(Paintra’s home right now looks like a small cottage/studio. It’s interior in the studio portion of her house is a mess- paints splattered everywhere, papers scattering the floors..a small wooden chair, many artistic utensils and shelf as well. The other parts aren’t that clean either- but it’s just a lot of her stuff laying around, including her sink..which is filled to the brim with dishes. Her house’s location is a bit concealed, though still located in Lollipop Land.)
