top 6 what the hell is going on this is hella creepy moments of your life
Damn! I’m gonna creep/weird myself out for a good while for this, gear up for story time, kids!
6. You know, I wanted to write a couple of stories of people I liked/dated/ or they liked me and how they utterly creeped me out and I realized that I have at least seven different stories that I can recall right now. I’m a creep magnet. To all the creeps, number 6 goes out to you. I still have no idea what was going on or why you did certain things. Thanks for leaving me alone now.
5. When I was a kid, adults had the horrible habit of giving me porcelain dolls on my birthday, despite the fact that I hate them because they’re so damn creepy, I couldn’t sleep. It got to a point where I had more than ten of the damned things and they were all over my room. So I decided to hide them in my room and around the house in places I couldn’t see them. They kept turning up again and again in their place in my room. Facing my bed. Of course.
Since that didn’t work, I started merely turning them so they would face the wall. Without fail, the next day they would be facing towards the front. I ended up giving them all away and telling my mom explicitly to tell our relatives that porcelain dolls freak me the fuck out.
4. Every single time I’ve heard someone calling my name or coming upstairs while I’m home alone.
3. Fucking Alone Hide n Seek/Hitori kakurenbo. That is just so wrong on so many levels, that just shouldn’t exist, man, that’s fucked up, I tell ya. Fucked. Up.
2. So there is/used to be a ghost of a girl that walks alone at night in the summer. I have seen her and so have two of my friends. All of us saw her separately on occasions years in between and each of us without prior knowledge of said happenings.
1. First place winner is the main reason I believe in supernatural occurrences. While I was doing a short internship in a restaurant in Puebla some three years ago, I stayed a night with my closest friend from the restaurant, a girl called Mai. When we were gonna sleep, since her room only had a single bed, she very kindly offered me the bed to sleep in and decided to crash on the couch. After much fun and youthful entertainment, we finally go to sleep after midnight. I change and turn off the light; I get into the small bed and try to find a comfy spot, ogling the room curiously, still quite visible because of the skylight on the roof and streetlights. As I’m drifting off, I start to hear a slow, heavy scuffle of bare feet. “Must be Mai downstairs, it’s a VERY small apartment, who knows how the sound carries around here anyway? Go to sleep, self”. The sound of bare feet stops and I notice suddenly it’s very quiet. The place is downtown. With at least three bars half a block away. Downtowns are never quiet. Okay… Somebody is breathing through their mouth and warming up my right ear with their breath. Not okay. There’s only two people in the apartment, including me, and the other person is separated from me by most of the room, a door, a small set of stairs, and the couch where she is sleeping. Definitely not okay. But I’ve been through creepy shit before, I can handle ghost breath. Sounds again die away. I Breathe deep and try to sleep again. Trying to focus on something else, I shift a little bit on the bed and close my eyes. Seconds after that, I feel a large and strong hand grab my left ankle through the covers. I think I screamed a bit, but I’m not entirely sure.
Exit Livi, stage left.
Cue stair-sitting while hyperventilating. Stare wide-eyed at friend chatting on Facebook while laying on couch. Shakily grab inhaler from bag on table.
