Coming this Thursday in collaboration with @knitting_confessions ❤️ “Lost Ruin” From the designer: “Lost Ruin is the third cowl in my Peruvian series and is inspired by the Amazon Rainforest and an ancient Incan ruin you might stumble upon hidden in the Amazon. This cowl is done in collaboration with the amazing Kelsey of Primrose Yarn Co. She came up with an amazing new colorway just for me! When it came to choosing a name for this colorway, I loved that the word Amazonas (Amazon in English) had two meanings. There is the Amazon Rainforest filled with vibrant colors, home to beautiful flora and fauna; but there are also the powerful Amazon warriors. These amazing mythical women are said to be fiercely independent, courageous warriors, stronger than men. To me that is just so empowering to think of this powerful warrior women.
