Using selfies for some real work this time 🤳

Realising how the drastically the colours of clothes change depending upon the light and background. I illustrated results in the tiny sketches of the garment as I think for an Apparel Design student or any professional working in this industry it becomes very important to understand the lighting for shoot and display purpose and understanding which lighting and background does justice to your design.

I tried mixing of two lights like sunlight as well the tubelight, and even the it is not advisable I observed that the texture and the fabric feel was most visible in that. Colours in the sunlight had more saturation to it while the colours in tubelight came out dull in comparison to the actual colour.

Colour Interaction using permutations and combinations

Started with early morning sunshine with a little experiment of blue, red and yellow coloured hair clips dipped in water and oil ,filled in glass turn by turn. Not only the colours I got from dipping the clips in the water true to the actual colourthey were, also a lot more brighter than the oil dipped ones.

Then I conducted colour Interaction by placing this glass, on top of coloured objects- Red, blue and yellow and clicked pictures in both sunlight and tubelight. The results showed hints of other secondary and tertiary colours.
