The crunching of glass under his dad's heavy footsteps, stumbling around in the messy house.

"White light."

A bottle slipping from his grip and shattering on impact with the floor.

"Alcohol, alcohol."

The smell of stale beer in his dad's breath when he yelled at him from close up.

"White light."

What he would see when his dad's fist made contact with him, on those really bad nights.

"White light," Murdoc sang into the microphone as his memories blurred from the alcohol he consumed. "White light."
