Fading hair colour without bleach.
Hello lovelies.
A different post for today.
So I recently decided my bleached ends pink. It was pure impulse, I was bored, I had some pink hair dye and taa dahh, pink hair.
Anyway it didn’t quite go how I wanted, it was too bright, I wanted a faded rose pink, or a washed out pink.
So the morning after, I started the process of fading it out as quickly as possible. This is something I have had a…

If you use a caffeine shampoo with the victim an c it's much better for your hair and doesn't dry it out as much :) just to let you know xxx
Thanks babe! I’ll defs check it out :) x
I’m using another box of colourb4 that I found whilst shopping last night, it smells 100 times worse than the other two I used Thursday. They were either out of date or complete knock offs.
I want to gag. All I can smell is rotten egg.
I'm really proud of this review I wrote for B4 extra strength.
Currently, I have my hair dyed brown, this dye is above a red dye, which is above another brown dye, which is above another red dye ... I want to put a light brown on, i need to bleach it but I have fear of damage it. What do you recommend? (sorry for my bad english)
Hi honey
You need to use a colour remover like colouroops or colourb4 to strip the built up dye out of your hair before preceeding. Then deep condition and leave for a week so your hair can recover.
Then depending on what shade it comes out at, you can use a box dye to go to light brown (make sure the dye has enough of a lifting agent to get the colour right)

Hello! I had red hair which had faded/grown and I got fed up with how bad the roots kept showing up. Used a colour remover on my hair with the intention of lightening it enough to dye over an aurbern/orange but I was surprised at how blonde my hair was (but a bit brassy) and decided I wanted to go blonde instead. I dyed over my whole hair with a blonde dye which has re-ignited a very pale red/almost pinky colour in places. Wondering how I can get it blonde? Will I have to bleach it? Thanks! x
Hi Hi!
Please take a good old read of my blonding guide (useful even if you don’t want to achieve white)

You’ll likely need to use a lightener, and tone it out with a box dye or toner (depending on your level) Stripper doesn’t actually take you back to your ‘natural colour’ as they claim, as most box dyes have lightener in them, so it actually takes you to the colour it lightened to. Obviously there was some colour deposit in your hair from the red that showed up when you used the blonde.
