Review of Colour B4 hair colour remover: Works really well , smells like someone has shit on your head though.
Hair colour remover turned my hair blue!!!
Just used Superdrug’s “colourless hair colour remover: maximum effect” and I’m pretty impressed
It doesn’t smell as bad a colour b4 and the effect isn’t as patchy
The instructions said to use “bottle D” as a condition after washing out the remover but that bottle isn’t provided in the box which is stupid Usual condition seemed to work fine, just leave it on a whole bc the shampoo you have to use really dries your hair out
(The purple irl was much darker, it only looked that bright in direct sunlight)
My hair smells so chemically and burnt and grossssss
Update. So my hair is pretty much yellow. There are a couple spots where it’s dark because of my roots and a tad bit of pink tint in my bangs, But i decided i don’t want to mess with another application so i’m just going to leave it. I currently have a deep conditioner in my hair, Wrapped in plastic wrap and the beanie again. I plan on leaving it all day while i get other house work done and then i’ll rinse it out later tonight and let it air dry, So hopefully it didn’t damage my hair too badly. I guess i’ll have to wait till tomorrow to see what it truly looks like. Hopefully it’s not too gross. (I already warned my boyfriend that it’s going to be ugly) One step closer to blonde and then pink! (or maybe the other way around!)
Fun facts. I got the Colour B4 because apparently they stopped selling Color oops (which is what i use, The colour before is the European brand) And so far the differences i’ve noticed are, Colour B4 has a second step thing called “Colour buffer” which i guess helps with either the color removal or removing the Colour B4 itself. Also it doesn’t smell as bad as Color Oops. Like, It still smells pretty bad but it smells more like Mayonnaise rather than rotten eggs. And my bathroom doesn’t reek like it did when i used color oops. (actually when i did the color oops i was at Julies house so i stunk up her entire basement. Sorry beb <3) Hopefully it works better than the color oops. The color oops left my hair half ginger and half pink.
In mere 24 hours ...
... I went from red hair to black hair (which I didn’t want to have, but it turned out black instead of a darkish red) to brown hair (because I used a hair colour remover). Wow.
I bought Colour B4 so that I can get this icky faded colour out of my hair but I don’t wanna do it yet in case it looks really shitty because I don’t have my hair dye yet
