thanks for this courtney :’)) <33333 i find myself growing and changing and expecting them to grow and change with me is unrealistic, but so much of what i love about them was their willingness to take chances and push boundaries and i never thought they would stop being that way. i guess learning to accept that and still love them and allow myself to be excited by them is the goal. it is frustrating that that is becoming a recurring theme in my life though haha <333 

also wrt not wanting upset my u2 buddies, i just see you all getting so excited about the new album coming and i don’t want my feelings to bum anyone out (although even thinking that i have that kind of power is silly), but yeah, im glad that you guys are excited, i just miss feeling that excitement too ://///

FLAIL! i had no idea you’d been to dublin, even!! that’s fucking amazing! i was actually just thinking about that show YESTERDAY because i was listening to unknown caller and thinking about the first time i heard it live!

AHKLDSF:KJSD:KFDF unknown caller is my defining memory of that concert!!!!! bc it had started drizzling and in the tune of the song bono went “let it rain, cause we don’t care, croke park....you know you’re name, so punch it in.....” AND IT WAS ADORABLE!! 

yeah, my mom and i went to dublin to see them for my 21st birthday (although it was like 6 months before my birthday haha) but it was amazing!!! it was so cool how after the concert everyone just walked home, the whole crowd :’)))

i also got a peacoat at topshop in dublin that i still wear a lot bc, as you know, most of the time in LA it doesn’t get much colder than dublin in july hahahaa
