Watched Rocky Horror nearly a week ago, needed to be done. Done on mobile so I can't do the actual big title thing I think. Improvisation.

RANKING ROCKY HORROR SONGS

Preface: All the songs are REALLY good and I genuinely like them all which is a surprise. Earworms. I'm hard of hearing and will always have moods where I prefer a song over the other ones but hopefully I'm confident in this rating. Doubt anything will go below 7. Some songs aren't included in the American version of the movie so only the ones in my movie 🤙.

Science Fiction/Double Feature: Opening to the movie, iconic. Probably meant to be sung in a weird way (I've heard Patricia Quinn's original at this point), still sounded good. Didn't get any of the references, that's on me. 8/10.

Dammit Janet: The talking to a backtrack at the beginning threw me off but it pulled me back in later on. Love the monotone backup singers + Janet's line "That you've met mom and you know dad". 8/10.

Over at the Frankenstein Place: The moment this started I knew how much I would love this movie. Beautiful vocals, really good scene setup, Riff Raff being a weirdo but mesmerizing in the window. I love Richard O'Brien but Stuart Matthew Price as Riff-Raff in one of the live productions kills it. 10/10.

The Time Warp: What else can I give this. I love it so much I can't even describe it. Didn't catch some of the lyrics clearly at first but it didn't take away from enjoyment for one second. Columbia's tap-dancing is adorable. 10/10.

Sweet Transvestite: I've really only listened to this once or twice before and after the actual movie but Tim Curry's vocals and entrance are some good shit. 9/10.

The Sword of Damocles: Really off-put by it at first, love it now. Rocky is a baby, Frank is fucking insane in this scene. 10/10.

I Can Make You a Man: Again, Tim Curry makes everything better. Kind if don't like the beginning but it picks up extremely well half-way through. 8/10.

Hot Patootie/Bless My Soul: YO IT'S MY SONGGGGG. I am fairly partial to 50's sound and aesthetic and Eddie and Columbia are adorable. Some of the lyrics are a bit fast but I do not care. 10/10.

I Can Make You a Man (Reprise): Took the more upbeat part I liked about the other one, made it a whole song. 9/10.

Touch-A, Touch-A, Touch Me: Ok,, it's a good song with a catchy tune, but the vocals are iffy bordering good if I may say. I've gotten used to them but still. Also Janet makes me angry before this; getting mad at Brad for doing the same thing she did. Still lowkey bops. 7/10.

Eddie: It's just good, Dr. Scott's weird shimmy at the beginning makes me laugh. Eddie's scream proceeds to kill me, just like Frank did to him. 9/10.

Planet Schmanet Janet: This is the energy I want. Frank going batshit, really "uppity" beat. The way he says sensual makes me laugh. 9/10.

Planet Hot Dog: I get the joke but the lyrics are still eh. Only reason it's not getting a 7 is because Brad and Scott's vocals + Magenta's weird dancing. 8/10.

Rose Tint My World: Yesssssir. Slays my entire life, but Brad especially kills it. It's just really pretty costuming as well. 10/10.

Fanfare/Don't Dream It: The slow numbers in this movie throw me off but the holy-type sounding chorus is very beautiful. Dr. Scott again, comedy genius. 9/10.

Wild and Untamed Thing: FUCK YEAH. Just everything is so good, but Riff Raff's entrance is the best. 10/10.

I'm Going Home: I don't think I've listened to it once since the full movie, I wasn't even really paying attention to the lyrics because of how GORGEOUS it was. Like, wow. Slow song so you already know, still memorable vocal parts. 8/10.
