Ok so my Honors Chemistry teacher ran the Columbus Marathon which is totally awesome on its own and then I found out fucking Josh Dun ran the half-marathon in Columbus and like wtf????? Like imagine your going out to run 13-26 miles and you're like wow I'm dying this was a terrible idea and then god damn Josh Dun comes up like I would freak the fuck out but you know I'd run a fantastic time to keep up with him I would fucking die, not from running but from running into one of my god damn idols
More of the story: my emo ass is jealous of my teacher who ran 26 miles by choice because a drummer was there too

The Nationwide Children's Hospital Columbus Marathon was this past weekend. Over 11,000 runners raced the streets of Downtown Columbus, the Near East Side, Bexley, the South Side, German Village, the Short North, the University District, Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights, and Arena District. The race raised over $ 1 million for Nationwide Children's Hospital, which has been the beneficiary of the race since 2012.
Here are highlights of the race running through the Near East Side, with the last of the runners racing east on Broad Street towards Bexley, and then waves of runners headed west through Olde Towne East, before heading south towards Nationwide Children's Hospital and German Village.
The 2023 Columbus Marathon is October 15, 2023. And it is always held on the THIRD Sunday of October, in case you forget again next year. For more information, go to http://www.columbusmarathon.com.

With that, #djbcts19 has come to a close with the biggest race in Central Ohio, the Columbus Marathon.
The 40th Annual Columbus Marathon was Sunday. The 26.2 mile race took over the streets of Columbus. There were Marathon Heroes at 24 of the 26 mile markers, patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the beneficiary of the Marathon. Did you know there was a “tie” for first at the Marathon (by a .02 second differential)?
October 18, 2020 will be the next Columbus Marathon.

I am proud and scared to say that I have finally registered for my second marathon just a few minutes ago. I'm really hoping to cut down my time this round, it's pretty daunting.
