I also don’t know if it’s sad or what that Mink knows exactly what he’s doing for Sei, tomorrow, but is still fretting over what to do for Aoba.

“It is..” Does he ask for it back now or had Aoba required it at this moment? One that could actually fit him would have been more suitable. “Return it when you are done.”

“Calming, aren’t they?” Of course, he was referring to the stars, glittering in the ripping, midnight sky that blanketed over them. But they weren’t what he was gazing at.

Kiss on the neck? Well he wasn’t opposed to such a thing— though it struck him odd as having a desire such as this. There wasn’t any particular thought or action before this, but he would think too much on this. He shift in his spot, setting aside what it was he was doing before leaning over, tugging gently at the others collar so he had easier access to his skin. Upon doing that, he pressed his lips to the others neck before parting with a soft smile.
Clear couldn't help but blush a little when he felt Aoba's lips on his neck. What brought that on? Ah, well, it didn't matter much. He just let out a tiny giggle and glanced over at the other, smiling at him. "Mm, what was that for, Aoba-san?" he asked, leaning down to press a kiss to his cheek. "You just felt like being affectionate? I don't mind-"

There were rumors about this stretch of forest. They were stories woven with such imagination one had to wonder just what lie beyond those thick trees that inspired them. Yet they were rich with detail and wonder, they just had to have their basis in fact.
Despite whatever was outlandish, what remained the heart and truth of it all was a great devastation. Something about Man and his carelessness that destroyed the life that flourished here once. But the Earth reclaimed what it owned with a vengeance. The trees grew taller here, their trunks great and close together. Brambles, vines and foliage weaved their ways through the cracks between them, flourishing under the great, green canopy. The song of birds would float along the air in a way that was both haunting, and inviting. Yes, there was life here, now. And yet, everything seemed so very... still. Serene, yet foreboding at the same time. It was almost as if the forest itself was a warning.
As if that on its own was not enough of a reason to avoid the land, there was all of those curious disappearances. Curious wanderers slipped between branches and leaves, never to be seen again, swallowed and lost in such terrifying beauty. Weary travelers who stopped to rest their head on a soft patch of moss, only to sink into the forest's mouth and never to continue on their way.
That was where the fiction came to play. Talk of a great beast who dwelled within the bars of these great trees filled the mouths of anyone lucky enough to escape the wood's grasp. And the spread like the same wildfire which had once scorched the soil from which it grew. It was a terrifyingly beautiful specter, they would say, with the powerful body of a dark elk. He had the head and torso of a man, but eyes that shone in the black of night with a gold brilliance to make even riches look poor, and teeth and claws sharper than any bear. A pair of towering antlers sprouted from a tumble of long, dark hair to scratch what sky would peek through the leaves, and tangle with the branches above. A devious creature, they would say, the one who protected this grove and its inhabitants from all who would do it harm. The very epitome of Fae, ever romanticized and feared.
However, it wasn't just Man who spoke of him. He was a source of enigma among the Fae themselves; his kindred creatures. They were not so easy to understand themselves, but even they found curiousity in this being.
This place was where he thrived, alone, more than content to be so. He would keep it that way. He rebuilt this place, nurtured it from the ashes of ruin. To keep it unsullied was to be alone aside from the flora and fauna who had settled here. This was his domain.
...but there was someone else encroaching on his territory. Not a human. Not an animal. Something more like him, though dangerously curious. He could smell them. He could feel them. Their very presence rippled through the air, triggering his defenses. Well, he supposed it was time to welcome them. And to inform them it was already well overstayed.
