The lore implications in Doombringer's monologue feel really fascinating when combined with Cactus Rose's lore - specifically, that beneath the serious-natured warrior she was forced by circumstance to become, she holds the hope of climbing the spire to find a way to stop at least most of the wars, one way or another.

I couldn't help but wonder how she felt...

...when the warden of the gods came to tell her about the sins she commited in the name of that goal.
