Combe Laval, France: The Combe Laval is a recess in the Vercors massif located in the French department of Drôme, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.The slopes of the retreat are mainly covered with recent scree and limestone dating from the Lower Cretaceous. The Laval valley is served by a single road, the D 239, which goes up the retreat of Saint-Laurent-en-Royans to the orthodox monastery of Saint-Antoine-le-Grand... Its route on the side of the cliffs of the combe quickly made it one of the most touristic roads in the Vercors.
