Combined Attacks
So basically one day it’s time for class 1A to learn combined attacks. Everyone is excited and soon the pairs of three are called out. Midoriya ends up with Bakugou and Todoroki. Aizawa can already feel the pain of a thousand headaches approach.
The dorms are in complete chaos during the assignment. Bakugou is constantly yelling and debunking Midoriya’s strategies, Midoriya has now purposefully put Bakugou at the end of all the attacks, and Todoroki looks like he has a constant migraine.
Mina: Me, Hagakure, and Tsu have agreed on a maneuver. She swings me around with her tongue and I make it rain acid while Hagakure sneaks into the villain’s base. What about you Kirishima?
Kirishima: Uraraka uses her quirk to make me super light. Then Dark Shadow launches me into the base like a bullet. It works like a charm. What about you Todoroki?
Todoroki, who looks like he’s hasn’t slept in years, probably has gone deaf by now, and currently on the brink of insanity: I never knew it was possible for people to yell without hesitation for seventeen hours straight. There is no button to mute or shut them down, there is only the red button. That button is a detonate button. I do not know how I am still standing.
The assignment is so fun for the rest of the class and they fucking crush it. Like, watching Kirishima, Uraraka, and Tokoyami work together is like watching a single mind control 3 bodies. And then you pan over to Midoriya, Bakugou, and Todoroki, and there is just screaming, yelling, stress, etc. Kirishima, Uraraka, and Tokoyami: We can break through any fortress because of our teamwork and bonding!
Bakugou: I. SWEAR. TO. FUCKING. GOD. IF YOU THINK I AM GOING TO LET YOU THROW ME I WILL TEAR YOU APART-
Midoriya: KACCHAN WE ARE DOING AN ASSIGNMENT. I WILL THROW YOU ACROSS A GOSH DANG WALL IF IT MEANS WE GET AN A
Todoroki: If you two do not stop shouting I am going to throw MYSELF INTO A WALL
Bakugou: GO RIGHT AHEAD. THERE IS STILL NO WAY I AM GOING TO BE USED AS A SPEAR IN A STUPID ASS STRATEGY
Midoriya: YOU COME UP WITH A BETTER STRATEGY BEFORE EVEN REFUSING MINE. I’VE CRUNCHED THE NUMBERS-
Bakugou: I’LL CRUNCH YOUR FUCKING SKULL- However, once they do all agree on an idea, there is zero hinderance. It is actually scary how well they work together when they’re on the same page. One minute they’re biting each other’s heads off, the next they’re performing a near impossible maneuver with ease. Mina, after seeing the three of them doing a complicated maneuver: Woah! I’ve never seen you guys practice that one before-
Bakugou: We haven’t
Mina: What? Then how did you know what to-
Todoroki: Midoriya shifted more of his weight to his left leg, which meant he was about to jump. We were able to formulate a plan shortly after
After a while, their strategies become top notch because of how critical they are of them. Instead of arguing, they are able to come up with better solutions and ideas. As they work together more, it is easier for them to predict each other’s moves. Todoroki also earns the endurance and resilience of a God after going through Midoriya’s and Bakugou’s arguments.
At the end of the day, their moves are so impressive and in sync Aizawa can almost forget the pain and sleepless nights those three caused him. Almost. There are still moments when an argument starts up and Aizawa just walks out of the room and stares at a wall.
