ANNIVERSARY UP IN HERE!

Settle in, because I’m about to get ALL sappy and shit up on this blog.

1 year ago today, Ed’s Old Bitches for The Ginger became Official. @karesera, @purplelunarmoth and I, through our mutual love, and OBVIOUS lust, for a certain delicious, British, Ginger Lad; joined forces and created this blog.  At the time, I thought it was just awesome to have found some other “mature” ladies in the Tumblrverse that loved Ed as much as I do, and figured we’d have some fun.

I had no idea what they would come to mean to me.  We figured it would be fun to create a group chat on FB, to get to know each other, to make plans for our blog, but it grew into so much more.  Over the course of the last year, our space has become a place I couldn’t do without.  I’m having a hard time putting into words how grateful I am for these incredible ladies.  We lift each other up, support each other through all the personal shit life has thrown at us, and laugh so hard inhalers and clean undies are often needed.  To have a safe place, a place where no judgement is allowed, no apologies are ever needed, and love is always first, it’s not something that I’ve experienced a lot of in my life.  I just love both of them, and I’m super fucking thankful to be an OBFG, and to have these amazing women in my life. 

More than anything, I hope one day, If I (WE) ever get to meet Ed, that I have the wits about me to be able to tell him how incredibly thankful I am that he brought us together.  If it wasn’t for Teddy, I’d never have met my ladies.

It really looks like that Ed has not any plans to come back soon. I miss him so much that it makes me sad, angry, happy too because he needs his time off. But I MISS HIM ugh..
