Flatland Cavalry - Come May (2015) Album Cover
Oh here’s something else I thought of, lads:
So okay, what if Snow is indeed a “hero,” but only to those around him. Like, if he’s the top of the Academy/top of whatever tf kind of Capitolite Nonsense TM, naturally he’d be held in very high regard by others like him. He’d be viewed as a good guy by others like him.
But that of course, doesn’t necessarily make him a “hero” of aLL OF PANEM. He’s only viewed as such within his own little elitist bubble.
I might be giving too much benefit of the doubt to the media attempting to stir everyone up with that one freaking word lmao, but just something to consider. A kind of...PERCEPTIVE use of “hero.”
I need to believe in myself like my garmin does. I’m running a 28 minute 5K right now, but Garmin is like, “Baby, you could be a ~STAR~”.

by: Thomas D. Mooney Editor-in-Chief For Part 1 of The Night Shift: The Come Up, click here. It’s Monday morning and I’m looking over setlists from this weekend. The two in front of me are polar opposites. One’s on a torn-out sheet of wide ruled paper with each song in shorthand. Everything is in handwritten scribbled Sharpie. Eastside. 7. Diana. Drunken. William. Amarillo. Dallas. Killing. The…

Flatland Cavalry looking out backstage. by: Thomas D. Mooney Editor-in-Chief “Hey…has anyone seen my pants?”–Dalton Domino There’s cheers from a few baseball fields a few vacant lots and streets over. The first eruption takes us by surprise. The six in the Front Porch Family Band crew are wandering around in a half awake, half asleep, and half hungover state this morning. They’re in the middle…
