So yesterday I went for a walk and was listening to "Come Back... Be Here" and realized how every single relationship taylorswift has been in has had to be long distance at some point. Since being on team I have eight friends that have been in, or are in, long distance relationships for at least a year. And I just feel so bad for her that she's had to do that with every single one of her love interests. I've seen it firsthand and it really can tear you up inside. But I'm so happy that she's focusing on friendships that strengthen her even if they're far away. For whatever reason, I've noticed that long distance friendships have a way of encouraging you. Maybe because the stronger ones will rise up since both people are invested. Whereas romantic relationships can be one-sided and therefore draining despite the distance. Sweet band name, huh? Despite the distance? Anyway, if you're wondering all of those relationships I mentioned are heading towards or ended in marriage! But they also have God as their foundation which seems to help in the long distance thing.
This is falling in love in the cruelest way. This is falling for you and you are worlds away.
