The secret recipe of the month -ULTIMATE MEAT LASAGNA
In come for dinner,u will always find the best meal from people around the world , this month our lovely Italian host Emma would like to share her family secret recipe of Ultimate Meat Lasagna that always receive tons of guest reviews every time when she host with this famous dish in her house : Having Emma’s Lasagna is like you've ordered lasagna at your favorite Restaurant in Italy .
INGREDIENTS
2 pounds lean ground beef
2 teaspoons dried basil leaves
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
2 teaspoons Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
6 cups marinara sauce
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 box lasagna noodles (I use flat no boil Barrilla noodles)
16 ounces ricotta cheese
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 pound Provolone cheese sliced
1/2 pound mozzarella cheese sliced
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: click on times in the instructions to start a kitchen timer while cooking.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Stir until you start to smell the fennel seeds starting to toast then drain the fat and add in the marinara sauce.
In your ricotta container if you have space add the egg and 1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt and mix well.
Add your no boil noodles to the meat sauce (we are not looking to cook them, just coat them in the sauce to ensure they don't get dry in the oven).
Put 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking pan (I use one with straight sides for easy assembly and for added height. If you are using a glass baking pan with curved sides it may not be large enough to fit this quantity of food).
Add the dried no boil noodles in an even layer, for me it was 5 noodles per layer, four across and one broken in half lengthwise to go down the side of the pan.
Add 1/3 the provolone slices, another 1 1/2 cups of the meat sauce, 1/4 of the mozzarella, 1/4 of the parmesan and 1/3 of the ricotta in spoonfuls dotting across the pan.
Repeat with the same noodle/cheese/meat sauce process.
10. a large pot, brown the beef in one large piece until it is browned on the bottom, 2-3 minutes, breaking apart the beef into slightly larger chunks.
11.Cook until the beef is browned and add in the basil, oregano, 2 teaspoons Kosher salt, crushed red pepper flakes and fennel seeds.
12 Finally, add a top layer of lasagna noodles and cover with remaining Parmesan and mozzarella. Cover with foil.
13 Bake for 40 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional ten minutes to brown the cheese.
14 Let cool for 20-25 minutes before serving.

Come for Dinner Experience With Gena!
Not long ago I had the pleasure to attend my first Come for Dinner experience! Can you believe I have never done it before..? The dinner host close to my place in the Temple Bar with a wonderful lady who has combined her passion for cooking, travelling and meeting new people into her own Come for Dinner experience.
We were welcomed with a lovely pre-dinner prosecco with some snacks on her beautiful lush green terrace, with a Jazz music playing the background. The Host, Amber is a great host and makes sure everyone feels welcome. Our group consisted of a girl from Mexico, a Taiwanese girl, a guy from local, Host Amber and myself.
Our main course was Spaghetti with clams and chilli, and before we began the feast Amber invited us to her kitchen to show how it’s prepared, and the final touches it requires. Then it was time to sit down by the table for the dinner Isabel had picked out a cool and nice white wine to accompany the dish.
the dinner was really great, Amber is a wonderful host, and even for a hard-core introvert as myself, it was wonderful to meet people who have exactly the same interest as you: eating..!
The newest way to try creative food and meet people
customer review from FiFi
I ate dinner in a stranger's apartment with 11 people I’d never met before using meal-sharing website comefordinner Sounds like it would be weird, right? I thought so too, but I enjoyed learning about my fellow diners' lives and hometowns, even if getting the conversation started was slightly awkward.
In case you're new to meal-sharing, Come for Dinner like the social dining. Guests select a location and a chef, then book their dinner online. Meals are served in the host home and each chef is proven by Come for dinner in advance. It's a great way to meet new people, try new foods, and if you're a tourist, get to know a little bit more about the city you're visiting.
I'm gonna need to make this very soon #homemade #Jambalaya My life in the #NationsCapital #ingredientcontributionswelcome #AndouilleSausage #comefordinner
