Imagine Din and Grogu modern AU in which Grogu makes Din watch cartoons with him. So Grogu will sit through episode after episode of "paw patrol" And Din will be like "Lord save me"
When Grogu gets a little older he starts getting into Avatar: The Last Airbender and when Din watches it with him he doesn't expect to get into it but by Season 2 he's already memorized the Intro
Din is scrolling through netflix with Grogu on his lap looking for something to watch when this animated show with dogs pops up and Grogu starts making incomprehensible babbling noises and moving about really excitedly. Din doesn't really want to watch it (I mean, he likes dogs as much as the next person but this just seems weird) but he's hoping it'll get Grogu to sleep and how bad can it really be?
Three hours later and someone fell asleep after two episodes. This was Din unfortunately, and Grogu has slipped off his lap and is centimetres away from the screen having the time of his life. When Din wakes up thanks to the glow emanating from the TV he checks his watch only to realise 'shIT ITS 10 PM' and he tries to get Grogu's attention and remains unsuccessful in every way until he pauses the TV to Grogu's immense disappointment.
Once Din has dragged Grogu away from the living room and has taken him upstairs to bed he gets the idea in his head that he's never going to have to watch 'What was it called? Dogs on Guard? Well I don't suppose it matters now.' again. This is until the next morning rolls around and a very sleepy Grogu refuses to eat choosing instead to repeat 'Paw trol' over and over again which ends up working because 'It's getting late and he's got to get to school and anyway it wasn't great but how bad can it actually be?'
Din realises this was a mistake about 0.3 seconds into turning it on as Grogu becomes transfixed and Din has to feed Grogu himself and can only do so by pausing the TV and aeroplane-ing the food to Grogu.
Eventually the obsession escalates and Din has to sacrifice his (quite frankly rubbish) tablet to Grogu so that he can watch Paw Patrol whenever as this is the only way to keep him quiet.
