Hey there ! Would you like to draw Grogu in Modern AU and tell me abit what made you like to name him Gregorio ?

I chose the name Gregorio for human!Grogu because Grogu is a very Star Wars name and I wanted something more Earthy, but something that you could somehow get Grogu from as a nickname. So in the modern AU, his full name is Gregorio, but he mispronounces it (as he is a young toddler) as Grogu and Din kinda got used to calling him it so it stuck. I also really like how Din has such a short name and then his kid has a long name 😆

Dad and I went to see The Mandalorian and Grogu and it was so FUN! Love when a movie is fun!! Felt like a whole season of the show but on the big screen which was awesome! I love that Zeb was in it. AND ROTTA!!!!! I hope Rotta and Ahsoka get reunited in a future project. That'd be so cute.

Anyway great movie! Glad I went to see it while it was still in theaters! I love my son and husband 🥰

Grogu makes another little noise that sounds like a dismissal, and Nantel decides to test a hypothesis. 

Kneeling back down, she switches to Mando’a. 

“Your father is going to be worried about you,” She says, a bit slower than if she were speaking to an adult. “You didn’t tell him you’re here.”

Grogu shakes his tiny head, confirming her suspicions. Otherwise, he has no reaction to the sudden language shift. 

“Alright, come on up then.” Nantel offers her shoulder, and the little boy jumps up like he was tossed by some invisible-

Nantel’s blood runs cold. 

“You’re a Jedi, aren’t you?”

From her shoulder, the little boy chirps, “‘Lek! Jetii!”
