I always thought the "jesus wept" thing was just a reference to the shortest bible passage, as well as a sort of "fuck you" since he's sort of smiling like he's relishing in it. That smile, so fucking good.

I'm probably wrong, but its how I saw it personally. I looked it up and it seemed like it was more likely the other reasoning :p
