My favorite hobby when I join a new fandom is to find a character who’s obsessed with sex and women (bonus points if they’re worried about their virginity), whether they’re the main character or a secondary one, and turn them into an asexual or aroace person.

Even as an aroace, I love reading about romance. It's so cheesy and cringe and it makes me so happy for the characters, especially when I feel super close to them. They get a happy end, I cry and then I remember I'll never experience this. Bit sad honestly but oh well
