Comfitex Sanitary Care Range Review #OneLessThingToWorry AboutSA
Once again, in partnership with Beauty Bulletin, I had the opportunity to try out the Comfitex Sanitary Range and this is basically the final review.
I decided to take this journey with two of my friends, Karen and Masedi, who both have shared their varied experiences with the pads.
From my side, I truly enjoyed my experience with the comfitex range simply because it’s efficient, comfortable and extremely convenient in it’s compact size and packaging. The pads for me were amazing, I personally prefer thinner pads simply for comfort. I mentioned the exact same thing in my first impressions video, but it’s really for emphasis, the pads are very comfortable. The pantyliners, for those who do use, I’d say get these, in bulk, they’re super thin, super durable and also very convenient. (A MAJOR PLUS: IF YOU BUY A PACK OF PADS IT COMES WITH 5 FREE PANTYLINERS). Usually I steer clear of, “feminine wipes” or you know those “feminine soaps” simply cause well you vagina is self cleaning and you never want to ruin the pH balance cause that can lead to all kind of infections, however i tried the Comfitex wipes for a week, they were great in the sense that, for a first timer, they did what i expected, obviously clean, but they didn’t leave me with any irritation or complaints which is a plus. With these however, i feel it’s more of a personal choice. The overall product is great and affordable for a student budget, so much that you can buy all 4 items for LESS THAN R100 (price list and where to get them is below).
So, I received two other packages, as mentioned before, the one was the same as mine - Ultra thin pads, pantyliners, feminine wipes and the disposable sanitary bags. The other one had thick pads instead. Masedi had the thin pads pack and Karen had the thick pads pack and this is what they had to say
Masedi " I really enjoyed the slim fit pads. Although I was skeptical at their ability to retain the blood and still just be a good pad it proved to be more. I like to be on the move regardless of my period and gym is one of my constant activities. The pad proved to be malleable and just all around comfortable to the extent I forgot for brief moments that they were there. I also love the slimness because it allows for aeration and really, for me, just lends a hand to just feeling cleaner throughout the whole process "
Karen "I used the thick pads and right off the bat, I noticed that the pad was more "nappy-like" in the sense that it was bulky. It was uncomfortable to wear because it kept moving meaning the adhesive was not effective as compared to what I regularly use and this made the experience dreadful. However the top of the pad was very soft despite the bulkiness of it."
