Time Out (One shot story)
Summary: Afraid of what his powers could do to his team if he loses control Scott leaves the school behind him and tries to find a new path outside of the X-Men. After a few months on his own, Scott finds his way to a bar where it seems that his new life isn't going as well as he'd anticipated. Meanwhile Logan's laying low in the city looking to keep a low profile, but when Scott finds his way into the bar Logan's hanging out in only trouble follows. Rating: Mature

Notes: This story was written to the following kiss prompt request given to me by stormxpadme from the following list of prompts here.
It was also inspired by the Uncanny X-Men #20 from the 60s as I was reading the comics as of late. In that issue at the beginning Scott decides to leave the team behind for fear of what his powers could do to the others and this is my What If on what could've happened had Scott and Logan crossed paths during this time. Obviously I took a few artistic twists on this as Scott really only leaves in the comic for a few hours it seems, but here Scott has been on his own for a few months working in the shadows as a vigilante trying to fight for justice as we pick up at the bar.
