So I got an idea for a new (short!) BKDK comic the other day. I've been posting the recording I did of my hands drafting it in real-time on my Instagram. It took about 21 minutes to finish. (I'm not sure how long it took me to do the initial thumbs, which I revised anyway, but I estimate about 5 minutes? Thumbnails are not meant to take that long.)
Today, I did an impromptu live stream on my YouTube channel of me cleaning up the draft (I call it the sketch stage) and then inking it. My time limit was an hour. It's nice that I was able to get so much done in one hour! I do feel like I'm still slow though. I know I will definitely slow down when I get to the fourth panel, as I'll have to actually draw the environment, but... that's good practice anyway!
There's an Easter Egg on this page, by the way. Can you identify it?
Hint: The answer is somewhere on this blog. :)
