The extinction of Earth and the search for an alternate habitable planet. A comic novel

98% of the world's scientists come to the conclusion that the world will go extinct in 100 years, and we should start making plans to find and travel to a new place to inhabit.

The prediction is ignored by the inhabitants of the world.

50 years later, a global conference is called in Paris to sign an agreement that something should be done. The US refuses to sign because of extinction denialism, loss of sovereignty and Iran.

It doesn't matter because another 45 years will drift by.

By now people agree that things are looking bad. A conference is called in Rome. An agreement is signed to build an international ark. Except the US refuses to sign because the other nations are not going to pay their fair share, and because of Iran.

It doesn't matter. The remaining countries agree to meet again in 18 months with ideas on how to choose equitably who gets to travel on the ark.

18 months later, after three weeks of intense negotiations, it is decided that the only fair way to do it is to put 8 billion names in a hat and have the Dalai Lama (or the Pope) draw 100 names.

The names drawn consist of 75 peasants, 20 CEOs, 2 America's Got Talent runners-up and a snake handling preacher.

Honestly,I don't like webtoon. And especially the one that are made from girl group like hybe and sm ,for similar style like aikatsu in japan, remember - they used to have Korean animation copy same dressing system like aikatsu and the name of the show it's called shining star. I have watch it,but not the movie. I mean- I even watch all episode of that show. And after that I research information of the cast,music,their staff. And what china did are the same of copy in pretty cure aka balala,little fairy or the little Chinese fairy copycat. Obviously after that I even read webtoon like let's play,and other based on real girl group aesthetic like Same concept but different setting ,in ancient,time travel thingy, based on queens like Cleopatra. I mean I have even tried reading enhypen 's webtoon , other Japanese webtoon based on real studio, some other works are real girl group like AKB48;46 group drama based on their manga that they appeared in, I've tried. But it didn't made me love them more
