I could easily live in the Scott Pilgrim universe. Of all the books, movies, tv shows, and video games I've experienced I think the Scott Pilgrim universe is simultaneously safe and fun. It covers the best cliches and tropes from classic video games which gives it a hint of absurdity that makes it more interesting than real life, while remaining grounded to reality with hints of darkness. Also as an American, I would understand how to use subspace highways which would make life a lot easier.
Also, I think we all need a friend like Wallace Wells.
